Virtual Reality Career Exploration

Employment Education Centre

Developed for the Employment & Education Centre and their CareerLabsVR project, UP360 created 15 virtual reality career exploration experiences.  Designed to help job seekers explore job opportunities through 20 minute VR simulations, the experiences focus on careers in the skilled trades such as Heavy Equipment Operator, Residential Electrician, and more.  In addition, UP360 worked on a project for CareerLabsVR regarding the development of simulations for careers in the steel and aluminum industry; examples of these being Mining Engineer, Pipefitter and CNC Operator. The experiences are being leveraged by employment organizations, secondary schools, employers and post secondary institutes across North America.  The CareerLabsVR project continues to grow and flourish, and is owned and operated by the Employment & Education Centre, in Brockville Ontario.
